Job Description
The company is looking for a Tax Director to work in our Wakefield, MA office. Our Tax Director oversees the firms tax policies and objectives; monitors reporting and planning to ensure compliance with applicable tax statutes; ensures accuracy of tax returns and works to minimize the organizations tax obligations; creates functional strategies and specific objectives; and develops budgets / policies / procedures to support the infrastructure.
Qualifications : Essential Job Functions
Provide tax planning and compliance services for high-net-worth individuals, estates, and trusts
Conduct multi-state tax filings
Perform tax accruals
Manage a portfolio of clients
Serve as a trusted advisor, offering clients industry expertise and knowledge
Work closely with engagement teams to continually add value to clients
Train and mentor tax associates
Qualifications :
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and client relationship management skills
Strong research and analytical skills
Prior experience with ProSystem fx Tax, BNA products, and CCH Intelliconnect is desired
CPA certification is required
