What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Health Educator position at Affinity Health Center?
- Responsible for the implementation of HIV prevention programs including Counseling, Testing and Referral Services (both on-site and off-site), PrEP navigation services, interventions and education for priority populations.
- Participates in Continuous Quality Improvement activities of the organization and Performance Management System.
- Conducts education presentations in conjunction with HIV/HCV/STI testing with vulnerable populations.
- Assists in identifying high-risk community locations to conduct counseling, testing and referral services.
- Completes all required documentation and reports.
- Certification in HIV and Hep C testing and counseling Preferred.
- Experience with Presentations and Public Speaking Preferred.
- Some evenings required.
- Occasional travel (driving) and weekend hours.
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
