Description : OVERVIEW :
The Lobby Attendant is responsible for the oversite and operational performance of on-site Temperature Screening. This position is responsible for ensuring the daily of screening are carried out according to the CDC in an efficient, safe, and reproducible manner.
ESSENTAIL JOB DUTIES :
Responsible for greeting patients, visitors, and hospital staff
Record temperature and patients, visitors, and hospital staff entering the facility
Assess the individual for any potential Covid-19 related symptoms
Records all data received from the patient, visitor, and hospital staff
Makes staff members aware of any issues out of the normal during screening
RESPONSIBILITIES / KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS :
Takes and records temperature of patients, visitors, and hospital staff entering the facility
Follows policies and procedures outline by the hospital
Perform any other duties that may be necessary for the operation of the corporation and / or hospital
Requirements : QUALIFICATIONS :
High School Diploma
Experience in medical operation preferred
Perform work safely and follows company policy and procedures
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
Frequent mobility and / or sitting required for extended periods of time
Manual dexterity and use of a calculator or computer keyboard.
Varied activities including standing, walking, reaching, bending, lifting
Occasionally lifts to 25 pounds
Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal ranges
Requires working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours
Exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionization radiation, medicinal preparations, and other conditions common to a hospital and / or clinic environment
