We are seeking a skilled X-ray /CT Technologist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations using CT scans, X-ray and other modalities to assist in the diagnosis of patients. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment with exposure to various medical imaging technologies.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Conduct X-ray imaging and CT exams procedures in accordance with physician orders and department protocol.
- Prepares patients for radiologic/CT procedures and ensures their comfort and safety during exams.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring quality control standards are met.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to interpret imaging results.
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to patients’ confidentiality guidelines.
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols during procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
- Must be registered with AART holding RT-R and RT-CT.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) holding RT-R, RT-CT
- Previous experience as a Radiologic Technologist /CT of more than 10 years or more is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of EHR Systems
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be registered with ARRT holding RT-R and RT-CT
- Associate degree in Radiologic Technology from accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
- High school diploma
- Previous experience as a Radiologic Technologist/CT Tech of more than 10 years or more is preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Varied activities including standing, walking, reaching, bending, lifting
- Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patient’s manual and finger dexterity and eye hand coordination
- Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time
- Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 100 pounds
- Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal ranges
- Requires working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours
- Exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medicinal preparations, and other conditions common to a hospital and/or clinic environment
Salary : $30 - $40
