Responsibilities

We are seeking a Behavioral Health Consultant (BHC) to enhance our Behavioral Health Department within a patient-centered medical home. The Infectious Diseases BHC will be a key member of a multidisciplinary team, focusing on patients with HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C, and other infectious diseases. Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting screenings and assessments
  • Providing ongoing therapy and treatment plans
  • Collaborating with primary care providers
  • Utilizing evidence-based interventions
  • Connecting patients with resources
  • Reducing stigma through outreach efforts

Requirements include a Masters degree in counseling or related field, relevant counseling experience, and appropriate licensure in South Carolina.
