The Professional Cardiovascular Tech (CVT) assists in various cardiovascular procedures, including cardiac catheterizations, electrophysiology, and interventional neurology. Responsibilities include preparing patients and procedure rooms, conducting cardiac tests, and assisting physicians during procedures. The role requires proficiency in X-ray fluoroscopy and hemodynamic data acquisition. Technologists must work varied hours, including on-call shifts.
Required: Associate Degree in Cardiovascular Technology or Radiologic Technology, BLS, ACLS, and two years of relevant experience. Preferred: Bachelors Degree and three years of experience.
