- Evaluate patients' functional status and identify equipment needs.
- Develop treatment programs and establish goals for improved function.
- Communicate care plans to physicians and other professionals.
- Teach new skills and retrain patients in daily activities.
- Maintain clinical records and communicate changes in patient conditions.
- Supervise certified occupational therapy assistants.
- Participate in discharge planning and coordinate care.
- Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program.
- Registered and licensed in the state of employment.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license and insured vehicle required.
- Active CPR certification for outpatient positions.
