Position Summary: 

The Office Manager Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Office Manager with the day-to-day operations of the office, providing administrative support, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Hours / Schedule:  Full Time; (40) hours / week.

Minimum Qualifications:  

  • High School Diploma

  • Previous office administrative support experience preferred.

  • Secretarial and computer background preferred.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Manage the office’s administrative functions, including maintaining records, supplies, and equipment.

  • Assist office manager with providing training and support.

  • Offer administrative support to the hospice team, including answering phones, responding to emails, and preparing correspondence.

  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date records, including patient information and personnel files.

  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, providing support to patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

  • Foster positive relationships with the community, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including HIPPA, OSHA, and other relevant laws and regulations.

  • Participate in special projects, such as quality improvement initiatives, marketing campaigns, and community outreach programs.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to support department goals and initiatives.
