The Position :
We are seeking a people-focused Leasing Consultant for our new, lease up, 62 and older, active adult community - Affinity at Bend , located in beautiful Central Oregon. Through relationship selling, the Leasing Consultant will help ensure the highest level of occupancy in the community. You will be responsible for building a strong rapport with our prospective and current residents.
- Practice professional and relational leasing techniques by connecting with prospective residents through phone calls, emails, walk-ins, and appointments.
- Listen with intent while gathering information from prospective residents to design an individualized experience for each tour that will best fit their needs.
- Provide meaningful and targeted follow-ups to potential residents.
- Maintain a community culture focused on enhancing our residents' way of life while providing excellent customer service and a supportive home environment.
- Show available apartments with prospective residents and conduct move-in orientations with new residents.
- Support community by participating in resident-led events and activities; keep accurate records of resident / property activities.
- Complete and maintain all documents required for resident and property files, including background / credit checks, liability insurance, etc.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to understand current marketing and sales programs while also keeping an active gauge on local competition and market conditions.
- Observe the condition of the grounds, buildings and model apartment homes on a regular basis and report any irregularities or maintenance needs to the Community Director.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Comply with all Fair Housing laws.
