We are seeking a skilled Pipeline Integrity Engineer to provide integrated land services to the Oil & Gas, power, utilities, and renewables industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct project management of pipeline integrity projects, overseeing employees, third-party staffing, and resources.
- Implementation of direct pipeline integrity functions, including HCA evaluations, risk modeling, inspections, repairs, root cause analysis, and remediation.
- Development of client pipeline integrity recommendations based on State and Federal regulations, operational efficiency, and safety.
- Procurement and management of materials and third-party services for pipeline integrity projects.
- Coordination with clients and other departments to ensure successful execution of pipeline integrity projects.
- Pre-award job walks and on-site technical support to clients.
Pipeline Integrity Projects:
- Pigging: make piggable, maintenance pigging, preparatory cleaning, in-line inspections, and proving pipelines for pigging operations.
- External Corrosion: cathodic protection surveys, close interval surveys, electrical isolation testing, ECDA, CP Design, and AC Mitigation.
- Internal Corrosion: field surveys and sampling, IC monitoring design, and IC corrosion monitoring.
- Regulatory Compliance: jurisdictional determination, class location studies, HCA analysis, threat & consequential risk analysis, positive material testing, and hydrostatic pressure testing.
Experience and Skill Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a science-related field plus 5 years' work-related experience or AS in a science-related field plus 10 years' minimum oilfield or NACE certification and experience.
- Thorough understanding and knowledge of 49 CFR Parts 192 and 195 pipeline integrity requirements.
- Familiarity with pipeline alignment sheets, pipeline drawings, GIS pipeline mapping, surveys, and GPS systems.
