Affinity Residential Care is a Twin Cities-based health and human services organization working to holistically enhance the quality of life for people in our community, primarily those with mental and physical disabilities. We provide a variety of residential and behavioral health services focused on helping the people in our community reach their greatest potential.

Job Summary :

The Director of Operations is responsible for providing leadership and oversight of the operations and development of the organization's services. In this role, you will provide the daily involvement and strategic vision necessary to align people, processes, systems, priorities, and strategies to produce operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

Operational Leadership

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and management of operations in alignment with the organization’s objectives relating to compliance, personnel, service delivery, billing, and other key operational functions.
  • Oversee the assignment of responsibilities and the allocation of resources, implementing operations infrastructure including systems, processes, and personnel designed to meet the objectives of the organization.
  • Facilitate weekly meetings to monitor performance and advance department-level and organizational initiatives.

Financial Management

  • Collaborate with the finance team to develop and monitor annual budgets, analyze financial performance, and develop cost-effective strategies to optimize financial performance.

    • Strategic Planning

  • Collaborate with the leadership team to set strategic goals and priorities for the organization relating to internal operations and business development.
  • Maintain industry awareness to lead effective new growth strategies and organizational initiatives.

    • Performance Metrics

  • Develop systems of tracking and reporting key performance indicators and important operational metrics.
  • Develop action plans to identify and resolve operational shortcomings.

    • Culture and Engagement

  • Provide leadership and management to maintain a healthy work culture and to ensure the company mission and core values are put into practice.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with community stakeholders to enhance the organization’s reputation and connections within the community.

    • Job Qualifications :

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a management or leadership role.
  • Proven understanding of Medicaid programs such as waivers, GRH / housing support etc.
  • Postsecondary education in a related field preferred.
  • Proven success facilitating operations and organizational development within a growing business.
  • High degree of cultural competency and the ability to work alongside diverse populations.
  • Excellent leadership, management, and communication skills.
  • Strong technology, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work within a fast paced, quickly evolving organization and manage multiple complex priorities.
  • Politically astute with exceptional interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication.
