Job description : Detector Engineer
Location : Victoria, BC
Salary : CAD upto 130,000
OurVerificationandValidation(V&V) team includes Detector Product
Engineers who support our delivery of world-leading photon-counting
detector technology to major system OEMs for photon-counting computed
tomography (PCCT). In this position you will have a hands-on role in
ensuring we fully understand our detector performance.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- ProductionValidationand Application Engineering :
- Supporttestplanning and executetestplans to establish
correlations between in-system CTimagingperformance and
detector specifications, optimizingx-raytestprotocols for
accuracy.
acquisition, processing, and reporting activities, including
best practices like compliance matrices referred to product
requirements documentation.
forverificationandvalidationactivities, ensuring
comprehensivetesting coverage.
providing input onverificationandtestability across all
design maturity stages.
appropriate, or when coming from customer failure reports,
collaborating with the reliability team where a product failure
occurred after shipment.
mode analysis and product reliability programs.
practices to ensure this is achieved.
manufacturing, and QA, to ensure integration
ofverificationandvalidationprocesses throughout the product
development process.

Experience Required :

Min 3 years product testing or debugging of complex hardware / software / devices / systems
Strong Troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Verification & Validation
Experience of data analysis tools (matlab, Python) or similar, including writing code
Statistical tools such as JMP
Degree in Systems or electrical engineering, engineering physics, physics or biophysics
