Position Overview :
As a Staff Accountant at Affirmed Home Care, you will play a pivotal role in managing and maintaining the company’s financial health. Reporting directly to the Controller, you will handle a range of accounting tasks to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accountant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to a mission-driven organization.
Key Responsibilities :
- Maintain and manage general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Reconcile bank accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Assist in month-end and year-end close processes.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Collaborate with the Controller to ensure compliance with all financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Help identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial operations.
