Affordable Cleaning Today provides high-quality residential cleaning services—no Airbnbs or vacation rentals, and only the occasional commercial job. We focus on recurring residential cleans, usually between 10 AM and 2 PM. Because you’ll be working inside clients’ homes, we value professionalism, trustworthiness, and attention to detail.

Position Overview

• Subcontractor Role (1099)
• In control of your schedule
• Work when it suits you. We welcome candidates who already have a flexible gig (e.g., DoorDash, tutoring, etc.) or morning jobs and want to add cleaning appointments to fill in extra hours.
• Gradual Build Toward More Hours

Start part-time and potentially transition to more assignments as you gain client trust. Some clients may opt out of “training” appointments early on, so your regular clientele grows over time.

• Flexibility & Scheduling

Our main cleaning hours are 10 AM to 2 PM, but because you control your schedule, you’re free to accept or decline jobs as needed. That said, we appreciate candidates who can sometimes pick up short-notice cleans if they have availability.After this trial, your requested rate goes to HR, who finalizes your ongoing pay based on performance and client satisfaction.A one-time fee (~$20) is required upfront and refunded once you complete the trial period successfully.

You follow specific client instructions consistently.

• Work Independently

You manage your own time, maintain standards without direct supervision, and handle tasks efficiently.You’ll need to get to various homes on time.Perfect for individuals who can also occasionally accept last-minute cleans if it fits their schedule.Bending, lifting ~25 lbs, and standing for long periods are part of the job.You’ll be inside people’s homes, so reliability and integrity matter greatly.Responsibilities

• Residential Cleaning: Deliver thorough, high-quality cleaning services to clients.
• Professional Interaction: Communicate courteously and respectfully with clients.
• Smartphone Use: Accept/decline appointments, manage scheduling, and handle any last-minute changes.
• Independent Scheduling: You have full control over which assignments you accept, but being flexible can open up more opportunities.

Required Qualifications

• Professional Cleaning Experience: 1–2 years or more (homes or hotels).
• Reliable Vehicle: You’ll travel to multiple locations.
• English Proficiency: Conversational is sufficient for basic communication.
• Background Check: Must pass (fee refunded after the trial).

Compensation & Perks

• Trial Week: $18/hour for 2 appointments. Need to complete at-least 1 successful solo cleaning.
• Post-Trial Pay: Based on performance and finalized by HR.
• Recurring Client Bonus: Earn $50 per new client (after their second confirmed appointment), up to 10 clients.
• Mileage Reimbursement: We help cover travel costs to and from job sites.
• Performance Bonuses: Additional pay for exceptional cleaning and positive feedback.
• 100% of Tips: Any gratuities are yours to keep.
