We are looking for Functional Specialist to work and support a comprehensive Life Cycle Logistics and Sustainment support to the F-35 Lightning II Program-encompassing acquisition (design, develop, test, produce and deploy), sustainment (operation and support). All DoD Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements are included, as required. Support Services shall include, but not be limited to logistic products technical support, training management and support, data and technical data management support, integrated systems management, sustainment tool analysis and development, sustainment planning, depot planning and support, and supportability analysis.
If you have 5-10 years of experience in any of these fields (Aircraft Maintenance Operation, Program Management, Data Analysis, Logistics and DoD Supply system, you are encouraged to apply.
Duties:
· Analyzing organizational programs to identify areas where methods and/or data are incomplete.
· Recommending new methods and techniques to address program issues related to capabilities and/or operating procedures; and
· Preparing reports on program evaluation to present to management.
· Reviewing, advising on, and conducting complex analyses, evaluations, or investigations in support of organizational programs, systems, process, including areas where definitions, methods, and/or data are incomplete, controversial, or uncertain, or where boundaries of the studies are extremely broad and difficult to determine in advance
· Develop acquisition strategies and direct or manage procurement
· Analyze and evaluate cost or price proposals and accounting systems data
· Plan, establish, or review contracts, programs, policies, or procedures
· Sets priorities and individual tasks to achieve objectives, including deliverables and measures of success;
· Implements communication strategies to inform staff members and stakeholders of important information and to follow-up with staff, as required;
· Promotes strategic partnerships for developing solutions; AND
· Tracks and reports on project portfolio performance, providing a real-time, comprehensive, and prioritized view of all projects.
Minimum Qualification:
· Must be a U.S. Citizen
· Must have a valid Driver’s License.
· Bachelor’s Degree
· Must be able to meet physical requirements associated with and / or pass any medical examination requirements related to performing daily assigned task.
· Must past pre-employment background check.
· Must past pre-employment and post-employment drug testing.
· Must be able to attain and maintain an Active Secret Clearance.
· Must be able to attain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC)
· Must have documented required years of experience in any of the following fields (Aircraft Maintenance Operation, Program Management, Data Analysis, Logistics and DoD Supply system.
Preferred Qualification:
· Active Secret Clearance.
· Prior experience in Aircraft Maintenance Operations
· Prior experience in Aircraft Maintenance Logistics Support.
