Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to enhance their quality of life.
- Support clients with memory care techniques to promote cognitive function and emotional well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring their comfort and security at all times.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, social workers, and family members to create comprehensive care plans that meet the unique needs of each client.
Experience
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with memory care practices and techniques is a plus.
- Experience in meal preparation and knowledge of nutritional guidelines for various health conditions is beneficial.
- Background in social work, home health, or nursing can enhance your ability to provide effective care.
- A genuine passion for helping others, particularly individuals with autism or other developmental challenges, is essential for success in this role.
