We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Solar Home Assessor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in evaluating residential properties for solar energy solutions. As a Solar Home Assessor, you will work closely with homeowners to assess their energy needs and provide tailored solar solutions that meet their requirements.
Duties
- Conduct thorough assessments of residential properties to determine suitability for solar energy systems.
- Engage with homeowners through door-to-door outreach and scheduled appointments to explain the benefits of solar energy.
- Utilize software tools to analyze energy consumption patterns and recommend appropriate solar solutions.
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop customized proposals based on assessment findings.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to ensure mutual satisfaction and successful project initiation.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the assessment process, addressing any questions or concerns from homeowners.
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, client interactions, and follow-up communications.
- Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory changes affecting solar energy.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in energy sales or solar sales is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele.
- Use of measuring tools, calculator/math skills and basic computer skills
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
- Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
- Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
- A current New Mexico Driver's License and clean driving record.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
