ANTICIPATED START DATE: 06/02/2025
DETAILS: Position works the Summer 2025 season at Affton High School. Position is contingent upon sufficient participation and the ability to conduct the season.
COMPENSATION: The stipend for this position is a minimum of $2,112.00, paid out in July and August 2025. This is a part-time, temporary, contracted position with no benefits.
JOB SUMMARY: To help each participating student achieve a high level of skill, an appreciation for the values of discipline and sportsmanship, and an increased level of self-esteem. To provide leadership for a successful team. To promote academic as well as athletic success of student athletes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prefers candidate with experience in coaching or supervising students
- Requires the ability to work with a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural student population
- Must meet Missouri State High School Athletic Association(MSHSAA) requirements for position, including:
1. Educator certification requirements (Preferred - Missouri teaching certificate OR Missouri substitute teaching
certificate)
2. Sports First Aid
3. The NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching Course (if not Missouri teacher certified)
