CNC Machine Operator Travel Position

Job description

Currently, multiple contract positions exist for CNC Operators. AFIMAC pays a competitive wage, along with company paid lodging and per diem. Qualified candidates must be able to be work away from home for the duration of the project, pass a pre-employment drug screen, and have a clean criminal background. This is a travel assignment that will not be in your home state.

$28.00 to $40.00 an hour depending on your experience, $35.00 a day per-diem on your bi-weekly paycheck. Up to 84 hours a week. Hotel and travel paid.

REQUIREMENTS:

Willing and able to run multiple cells. CNC Mills and CNC Lathes. May be required to run multiple machines.

Must be able to use precision gages and instruments, read inspection documents, record irregularity findings, and make decisions for part quality.

CNC Precision Grinding Operator (ID/OD)

• Must be able to perform unassisted adjustments to grinding wheels including proper selection and wear dressing.

CNC Mill Operators

· Prior verifiable experience

· One year or more operating CNC Machines

· Able to travel by air to arrive at the client location timely

· Able to mobilize within 24-48 hours to client location

· Able to work up to 12-hour days, 7 days per week if necessary

· Able to be away from home for the duration of the project

· Willing to work any shift including nights, weekends, holidays, including overtime

· Able to work in extreme cold/hot weather conditions

· Able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods

· Eligible to work in the United States

· Agree to complete any required training if necessary

· Must have a clean criminal background

· Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
