What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Operations Manager position at AFIMAC Global?
AFIMAC is seeking an office based professional to manage and coordinate its security service line to outside clients. Seeking a flexible person who can work in a changing environment. This position works for the Director of Operations and the main function is recruiting and mobilizing security teams to nationwide temporary projects. This person needs to be tech-savvy in Security Management and oversees the organization, implementation and monitoring of our company's Security Operations. The successful candidate will be required to respond to our technical security issues, monitor threats, make sound decisions based on data and create comprehensive policies to reduce risk. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with security technologies and experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Principal Responsibilities:
Recruiting Security:
-Daily review of candidate applications
-Approval of candidate applications based on security position requirements per SOP
-Work with recruiters on initial contact to introduce our industry and deployments during job staffing and/or ongoing recruiting
-Add approved candidates to BullHorn software.
-Continuous updating of available current employees on running standby list
-Assure existing employees do annual updating via the application process-resumes, phone number, email address, credentials, background permissions, etc.
-Identifying new resources for recruitment-schools, unemployment offices, military sites, etc.
-Work with HR for recruitment campaigns, running ads, and effective recruitment sites
Other Responsibilities:
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents with appropriate personnel and equipment.
- Train team members to respond quickly to incidents.
- Train team members to accurately record events so that they can be stored in the database.
- Respond to security alerts by dispatching the appropriate personnel and equipment.
- Monitor the status of personnel, vehicles, and equipment.
Staffing:
-Coordinating with Senior Manager of Operations for upcoming jobs as direct by the Director of Operations (DOO)
-Assisting the Senior Manager of Ops in running background checks on possible candidates for assignment
-Packing and sending equipment/supplies for active jobs
-Sending travel information to employees and the corresponding arrival lists to job sites
-Backfilling current projects
- Coordinating with travel personnel for flight and other travel arrangements for deployments
Oversite of Site Commanders:
-By direction of the DOO, daily incident management with site commanders
-Weekly current project manager updates via direct call and monthly supervisor conference call for training purposes.
Licensing:
-Business Licensing.
-Partnership Licensing.
-Field Personnel Licensing.
Assessments
-Site assessments for potential labor action sites
-Threat Vulnerability Risk Assessments (TVRA’s)
- Physical security audits
Other.
-Building maintenance when directed by the DOO
-Inventory management-regarding security
-Uniforms
-Security equipment/security room maintenance
-PPE Equipment acquisition and inventory
-Project related duties as designated by the DOO
Bachelor's Degree required.
