AFL is seeking a Demand Manage r to join and lead our growing Optical Connectivity business to ensure achieving forecast accuracy of 95% or higher of all finished goods on a rolling three month basis. Our goal is to reduce forecast bias to / - 2% across all product categories and to reduce our SMOG inventory by 20% annually. This team must ensure 100% compliance with data entry standards in Salesforce and maintain a 98% accuracy rate in the demand funnel.
Responsibilities :
Decision Rights
Final approval authority and accountability for demand forecasts before they are presented to senior management or incorporated into the S&OP process.
Can implement changes to the demand planning process within the team.
Decides how to allocate team resources (time, budget) across various projects and initiatives.
Authority to conduct performance reviews, recommend promotions, or initiate disciplinary actions for direct reports.
Recommends new demand planning technologies or tools for approval by VP Supply Chain.
Decides how to manage relationships with key stakeholders, including which meetings to attend and how to present demand planning insights.
Authority to implement risk mitigation strategies related to demand planning within agreed parameters.
