Job Summary
The WiFi System Architect is a technical professional responsible for designing, planning, and implementing complex WiFi networks. This individual will focus on optimizing network performance, security, scalability, and user experience by selecting appropriate hardware, software, and configurations while staying current with emerging WiFi technologies. They will collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure and business needs.
Responsibilities
In-depth knowledge of WiFi protocols
Expertise in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting
Understanding of network security concepts and best practices
Proficiency in network management tools and monitoring systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Work closely with cross-functional teams to diagnose and resolve issues.
Mentor and guide QA teams, providing technical leadership
Interface with sales, operations, system engineers, and partners to understand specific solution requirements.
Stay ahead of industry trends and incorporating the latest WiFi technologies.

4 year BS (engineering) plus 5 years minimum WiFi experience
Proficient with IBWAVE, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Visio
Previous Aruba, Cisco, and / or Extreme Networks OEM platform experience
Handle confidential / sensitive information with discretion
Good judgment
Familiar with Carrier testing and closeout package requirements
Walking up and down stairs General hours of Monday through Friday 8 : 00am to 5 : 00pm. But ability to provide support during and outside regular business hours is required.
