Duties
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their insurance needs.
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ financial situations to recommend appropriate insurance products.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Engage in outside sales activities, including networking and attending community events to promote services.
- Prepare and present insurance proposals, ensuring clarity in terms and conditions.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities through effective sales administration.
- Stay informed about industry trends, changes in regulations, and new products to provide knowledgeable advice.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations when handling sensitive client information.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve overall sales targets.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or insurance sales is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for success in this role.
- Ability to negotiate effectively while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Excellent customer service skills with a proven track record of building relationships.
- Familiarity with sales administration processes is a plus.
- Proficiency in Spanish is highly desirable but not mandatory.
- A valid insurance license may be required depending on state regulations.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
