Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients by providing personalized service and support.
- Assess clients' insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and expand the customer base.
- Engage in outside sales activities, including networking and community involvement, to promote insurance products.
- Manage the sales administration process, including preparing quotes, processing applications, and maintaining accurate records.
- Provide ongoing support for benefits administration and claims processes.
- Utilize telemarketing techniques to reach out to potential customers and follow up on leads.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations (including HIPAA), and product offerings to provide informed advice to clients.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous experience in insurance sales or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong background in retail sales or customer service is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with benefits administration processes is a plus.
