Warehouse Supervisor - 2nd shift

The Role

The Warehouse Supervisor reporting to the Operations Manager is responsible for overall effectiveness and planning daily activities in assigned warehouse departments. Becoming the expert in all department processes and system transactions (SAP super user), oversee crew comprised of Kao employees and contractors for company and safety policies to ensure compliance, support continuous improvement projects, and support the inventory group to maintain high inventory control accuracy. This is 2nd shift position with a 2:00pm start time.

What You Will Do

• Responsible for overall effectiveness of planning and execution of daily activities in assigned warehouse departments.
• Manage direct reports and temps.
• Oversee crew for company and safety policies and apply accountability.
• Motivate crew.
• Identify areas of improvement and help implement improvements (continuous improvement).
• SAP super user for all assigned warehouse departments.
• Support the inventory control team to maintain clean and accurate inventory of goods .
• Support with maintaining all current Standard Operating Procedures and create new ones for all assigned warehouse departments.
• Other tasks as needed.
  
  

What You Will Need

• 4 years experience in distribution and warehousing operations.
• 3 Management.
• High School degree. College preferred, but not mandatory.
• Proficient in warehousing systems in SAP WM.
• Work experience as a supervisor with emphasis on personnel management.
• Must understand all physical elements of the supply chain, including Transportation, Warehousing and Distribution.
