Summary:

This full-time, 40-hour position involves maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of discharge areas, ancillary spaces, and administrative zones, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors alike.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas, including patient discharge rooms, administrative offices, and ancillary spaces.
2. Clean and sanitize equipment and ensure proper storage after use.
3. Respond to and execute function setups and moving requests as needed.
4. Support team members in maintaining consistent cleaning schedules.
5. Perform tasks in adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
6. Report any issues or supply needs to the supervisor in a timely manner.
Experience/Knowledge/Skills Required:
1. Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial services is preferred; particularly in a healthcare setting.
2. Knowledge of healthcare cleaning protocols and infection prevention practices is advantageous.
3. Ability to follow cleaning schedules and respond to urgent cleaning requests.
4. Strong organizational and time management skills.
5. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
6. Must be able to work rotating weekends as scheduled.
7. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
8. Ability to lift and move cleaning equipment and supplies as needed.
Education Required:
1. Must be able to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions in English at a 12th-grade level.

Pay: From $16.50 per hour
