Primary Accountabilities
- In partnership with executive leaders, creates annual operating and staffing budgets.
- Provide monthly budget reporting and variance analysis to executive business partners.
- Lead in the planning and development of complex and/or strategic analysis used by business partners and divisional leadership.
- Represent the division in presentation of analyses to divisional leadership on a regular basis and occasionally to executive leadership.
- Utilize advanced modeling techniques to appropriately analyze the financial and growth implications of various solutions.
- Use advanced data mining and statistical techniques to find relationships in data to drive decisions.
- Research and develops more complex and comprehensive management reports as requested for all levels of management.
- Work with divisional leadership to determine and develop appropriate metrics to assess performance and identify opportunities to improve business results.
- Actively participate as the financial expert and represents Finance on critical cross-functional teams.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements
- Experience creating expense budgets, including staffing, travel, and external vendor costs is required.
- Experience building executive business partner relationships is required.
- Advanced-level Excel proficiency is required.
- Experience developing cost sharing and/or internal allocation models is preferred.
- Knowledge and understanding of insurance operations is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service
- Demonstrated experience in financial statement and management reporting.
- Demonstrated experience with complex financial and operational analysis.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of forecasting techniques, statistical analysis, data modeling, and data mining.

In this flex office/home role, you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month from one of the following office locations: Madison, WI 53783; Boston, MA 02110; Denver, CO 80112; Keene, NH 03431; St. Joseph, MO 64507; Phoenix, AZ 85034.
