What are the responsibilities and job description for the HYDRAULIC FABRICATOR MECH position at AFP Industries Inc?
This position performs fabrication of hydraulic parts in accordance with specifications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Completes assembly responsibilities to include drilling, tapping, grinding, de-burring, welding, painting and tube bending.
- Responsible for testing and set-up of all manufactured equipment.
- Packages products to include crating as needed for customers.
- Uses inspection gages such as micrometers, veneers and combination squares.
- Reports any malfunctions or equipment problems to manager.
- Maintains clean, orderly and safe work areas.
- Wears PPE and follows safety guidelines.
- Adheres to company policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities Required:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics.
- Possess strong mechanical aptitude.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Electrical Wiring
- Understanding of Hydraulic Systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
Physical Requirement:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Education and Experience Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 years hydraulic experience required.
