This position coordinates and organizes activities involved in the identification, acquisition, production, distribution and scheduling of the use of company’s goods.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Maintains required inventory of supplies and materials to optimize production.
- Tracks shipments in and enters orders into inventory system.
- Builds relationships with vendors.
- Communicates with sales people regarding scheduling and availability of parts for jobs.
- Assist shop management with scheduling based on deliverable materials.
- Works closely with shipping / receiving / accounts payable departments.
- Receives deliveries and adds to inventory.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
