At American Financial Resources (AFR), we specialize in providing financing solutions that empower homeowners. We’re looking for a Post-Closing – Collateral Analyst to support our Post-Closing Department in managing collateral documentation, credit analysis, and operational workflows.

Compensation 50-60K
What You’ll Do
✅ Manage Incoming Collateral – Retrieve, log, and organize mail and overnight deliveries daily.
✅ Review Loan Documentation – Examine Notes and Security Instruments for accuracy, flag issues, and coordinate resolutions.
✅ Facilitate Endorsements & Shipping – Process original Notes, apply endorsements, and prepare collateral for shipment to warehouse banks.
✅ Maintain Compliance & Tracking – Update systems of record, track collateral movements, and ensure documentation is complete.
✅ Resolve Deficiencies – Work closely with warehouse banks and secondary marketing teams to clear suspended collateral and ensure timely loan purchasing.
✅ Support Agency Loan Processing – Assist with FNMA, FHLMC, and GNMA loan documentation and compliance.
✅ Collaborate Across Teams – Communicate with funding, underwriting, and secondary marketing to ensure smooth loan processing.
Qualifications
What You Bring to the Team
✔ Experience handling post-closing final documents, mortgage loan documentation, or collateral review.
✔ Strong organizational and analytical skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
✔ Knowledge of agency loans (FNMA, FHLMC, GNMA) and warehouse banking procedures.
✔ Attention to detail with a commitment to compliance and accuracy.
✔ Excellent communication skills for internal and external coordination.
