African Caregivers LLC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Male Home Health Aide for a live-in position. This temporary assignment will last from July 15, 2024, to July 22, 2024. The ideal candidate will have experience with a Hoyer lift and be capable of providing comprehensive assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and professional care to a wheelchair-bound patient.
- Assist with ADLs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Utilize a Hoyer lift to safely transfer the patient between the wheelchair and bed or other locations.
- Ensure the patient’s comfort and safety at all times.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to the patient.
Requirements:
- Must be a male aide with experience in live-in care.
- Proven experience with a Hoyer lift.
- Strong physical ability to assist a wheelchair-bound patient.
- Ability to provide comprehensive care, including ADLs.
- Reliable, compassionate, and patient-centered approach.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Valid Home Health Aide certification.
Compensation: $180.00 per day
