We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for transporting materials from one location to another. The truck and trailer being driven require a valid NYS CDL License.
Applicants are required to:
- Safely operate delivery vehicles such as vans or trucks to transport goods
- Load and unload cargo following specific handling procedures
- Plan delivery routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Follow traffic laws and maintain a clean driving record
Applicants should have:
- Customer service skills for interacting with clients during deliveries
- Experience with forklifts and pallet jacks for loading and unloading cargo
- Capability for heavy lifting when required
- Proficiency in driving manual transmission vehicles
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures
- Knowledge of route driving for efficient delivery schedules
