Description
Are you a physician assistant (PA) or nurse practitioner (NP) who aims to make a difference in the lives of your patients? If so, TeamHealth is seeking a part-time advanced practice clinician (APC) to join our reputable urgent care team at our new After Hours Pediatrics Urgent Care in Tampa, Florida! In this role, you should be willing to travel and work at all 5 clinics throughout Tampa.
If you have a minimum of 2 years of pediatric (peds) practice experience as an advanced practice clinician in an urgent care or emergency medicine (EM) setting and be able to work as a solo provider. The ideal candidate must be comfortable caring for newborns to 22 years of age and be proficient in reading x-rays, suturing, splinting, minor trauma assessment and management, minor orthopedics, wound care/closures and incision/drainage of abscesses.

Founded in 1997, After Hours Pediatrics provides immediate medical attention to children, from newborns to 22 years of age, at times when their primary care doctor's office is closed. The facility provides care for illnesses and injuries in addition to digital x-ray and laboratory services. After Hours Pediatrics ensures continuity of care by providing same-day reports to patients' primary physicians. After Hours Pediatrics has five pediatric urgent care locations in Tampa Bay, one in Naples and two in South Florida.
