What are the responsibilities and job description for the Art Teacher / Instructor position at After School Life?
We are hiring teachers and instructors for After School Programs in Elementary schools for the following Programs: 1- Art of Cartooning 2- Sketching 3- Clay Sculpture (using air-dry clay) 4-3D Pen doodling
Teaching time: Weekdays starting after 2:30 pm. The class is 1 hour after school. Typical class time is 3:00 - 4:00 pm or 3:30 - 4:30 pm depending on the school.
- Critical Requirements: Responsible and Accountable, Have reliable transportation with valid driver's license and insurance. Punctual with an excellent work ethic. Possess great organizational and communication skills. Willing to get fingerprinted/background checked, and TB tested.
- Job Description // Responsibilities: After-school classes are held any of the following locations: Redwood City, Palo Alto, San Mateo, Mountain view, Sunnyvale. Teachers are required to commute to the assigned school (one to two schools per day) class material provided. Duties include:- Class prep: Arranging kits and understanding the class curriculum- Conducting and managing the class- Cleanup after the class- Addressing parents' questions or feedback.
