Position Summary & Qualifications
After school Life is seeking a RESPONSIBLE & RELIABLE Extended care teacher where he/she will assist in implementing the daily activities of school-aged children in an after-school extended day program. This position requires leadership abilities, patience, compassion, and an understanding of children’s needs.
Essential Duties:
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to provide a positive and supportive team atmosphere and learning environment
- Maintain a clean and orderly environment
- Comply with Mandated Reporting Guidelines
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Provide a safe, caring, positive, and engaging learning environment for students
- Assist children with homework assignments to enhance student learning
- Guide and supervise students in various activities including: games, art, crafts, and recreational activities

Licenses and Other Requirements: Valid First Aid/CPR Certificate, or ability to obtain.
Monday - Friday (3:15pm-5:30pm)
Holidays as per school calendar

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
