We’re Hiring: Debate Coach (Only In-Person)
Are you passionate about fostering critical thinking and public speaking skills? Do you have a talent for guiding students to express their ideas confidently and persuasively? Join our team as a Debate Coach and inspire the next generation of skilled debaters!
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach debate techniques and strategies to students of varying skill levels.
- Prepare students for competitions and public speaking events.
- Develop engaging lesson plans to build confidence, articulation, and argumentation skills.
- Provide constructive feedback to help students improve and excel.
Qualifications:
- Strong background in debate, public speaking, or a related field.
- Experience in teaching or mentoring students is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for education and helping students reach their potential.
- Bachelor’s degree or in progress toward obtaining a bachelor’s degree
- Prior experience coaching or participating in debate
- Ability to be in-person
Schedule and run practices once weekly. In person is preferred.
1 session/2 hours
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 per week
