Job Overview:
Digital Dreamers STEAM Academy is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Improv Instructor to lead an engaging after-school improv program for elementary school students. The ideal candidate will have experience in improvisation, theater, or performance arts and a passion for working with children. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead weekly improv sessions for elementary-aged students, encouraging creativity and collaboration.
- Develop and deliver fun, age-appropriate activities focused on improvisational theater techniques, games, and exercises.
- Create a safe, positive, and inclusive environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves.
- Help students build confidence, teamwork, and communication skills through improvisation.
- Manage class time effectively, ensuring students stay engaged and excited about learning.
- Provide updates to parents and school staff about student progress and activities.
Schedule:
- Classes are held once a week for 1-2 hours after school.
Qualifications:
- Experience in improv, theater, or performance arts (teaching experience preferred but not required).
- Previous experience working with elementary school children in a classroom or after-school setting.
- Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
- Ability to inspire and engage students while maintaining a positive, supportive learning atmosphere.
- Availability to teach 1-2 hours per week during after-school hours.

Pay: $27.00 - $33.00 per hour
