LEGO Robotics Instructor - Elementary Students [After School Enrichment]

Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated LEGO Robotics Instructor for our after-school program. The ideal candidate will inspire and guide elementary students through engaging and educational LEGO Robotics activities. This part-time position requires a commitment of 1 day per week, 1 hour per class, making it an excellent opportunity for those with a flexible schedule or seeking supplementary work. Experience with LEGO Robotics, LEGO League, LEGO Mindstorms, EV3 programming tool, or LEGO NXT Robotics is highly beneficial but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging LEGO Robotics lessons that are suitable for elementary students.
- Facilitate hands-on learning experiences that encourage creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork.
- Provide guidance and support to students as they build and program their robots.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Ensure the safety and proper use of all LEGO Robotics equipment and materials.
- Prepare for each session by organizing materials and setting up the classroom.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, STEM, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Experience with LEGO Robotics, LEGO League, LEGO Mindstorms, EV3 programming tool, or LEGO NXT Robotics is a plus but not mandatory.
- Previous teaching or instructional experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enthusiasm for STEM education and working with children.
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to the full duration of the program.
