After-School STEAM Instructor Elementary Students
About the Role:
- Facilitate our STEM program, blending Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) for kinder to 5th grade students.
- Create an engaging, hands-on learning experience that fosters cognitive development and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver interactive STEM activities that captivate and educate young learners.
- Efficiently manage classroom dynamics and maintain an orderly learning environment.
- Handle and replenish STEM supplies, ensuring they are ready for each session.
- Set up student-friendly learning stations and implement effective classroom management strategies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies for elementary students in an after-school setting.
- Continuously adapt teaching methods and engage in professional development for STEM enrichment.
Experience:
- Proven ability to engage elementary students in a hands-on, interactive learning environment.
- Strong skills in classroom management, organization, and STEM activity execution.
- Background in early childhood education with a focus on STEM enrichment.
- Experience with the unique aspects of after-school teaching.
- Continuous engagement in professional development in STEM and early education.

Pay: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour
