Project Engineer

Are you a detail-oriented professional with Project Management or Estimating experience?

We are seeking a highly motivated Project/Estimating Engineer with at least two years of experience to join our client's dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your skills in a fast-paced industrial environment, contributing to diverse projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive labor and material estimates for projects
• Perform meticulous material take-offs and generate detailed bills of materials
• Gather and analyze pricing information from various suppliers
• Oversee project planning, budgeting, and logistics
• Create detailed drawings for shop work orders and field installations
• Travel to customer sites for dimensional verification and project support
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Drafting or Engineering Technology
• At least 2 years of experience in a relevant industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams)
• Strong understanding of industrial drawings and their application in material estimation
• Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, Solidworks)
• Excellent multitasking and project management abilities
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong mathematical and mechanical aptitude
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective written and verbal communication

Salary: $60,000 - $100,000 commensurate with experience
