Job Overview
Arroyo Grande is seeking a reliable and motivated Parts Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the timely delivery of parts to various locations, ensuring that all items are handled with care and delivered efficiently. This role requires a strong focus on safety and customer service, as well as the ability to operate various types of vehicles and equipment.
Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, to transport parts to designated locations.
- Load and unload parts from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and organization.
- Utilize forklifts and pallet jacks for moving heavy items.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking inventory and confirming receipt of parts.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and efficient workflow.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road and in the warehouse.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks related to moving parts.
- Familiarity with automotive parts operations.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing deliveries.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory.
