AG&E is an international structural engineering firm headquartered in Dallas, TX. Founded in 2004, AG&E has 7 offices across the US and one office in India. We are searching for a Structural Steel Detailer to join our team in Brentwood, TN.
STEEL DETAILING
Structural steel detailing involves many facets from building columns and beams to miscellaneous stairs and hanging interior fixtures. A good steel detailer needs to have a working knowledge of the consultants roles, fabrication and the erection of steel and OSHA requirements. A working knowledge of steel software TEKLA or SDS2 is also a requirement.
In general, the role of a detailer is 2 part: one being a modeler in 3-D and the other a checker.
