The Opportunity
This role will report to the Branch Manager and be responsible for the preparation and shipment of agricultural related products, receiving and stocking warehouse inventory and merchandise.
Responsibilities
- Utilize written sales orders to prepare and package shipments, including pulling inventory from Warehouse shelving, racking, or outdoor stock lot
- Prepare shipping documents per the details on the order, as well as create shipping labels and/or load manifests
- Prepare shipment quotations and estimates
- Receive shipments from vendors and suppliers and document incoming product
- Assist and work closely with the branch Inventory Support Associate to process incoming shipments to include: boxing, wrapping, bagging parts, and/or stocking parts onto shelving and racking
- Assist Inventory Support Associate with inventory audits and cycle counts
- Re-box/re-crate products as needed
- Refurbish damaged or aged products when possible (report product that is not compliant)
- Keep work environment in a safe, clean, organized, and orderly fashion
- Assist with ordering/restocking packaging and departmental materials/supplies
- Assist the Assembly department if daily duties are completed (when directed by the Branch Manager)
- On occasion, fill in as the backup delivery driver and make deliveries using a 32' gooseneck, as well as assembled product such as augers, conveyors, and other miscellaneous agricultural equipment.

What We Are Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required. General knowledge of warehouse operations preferred.
- Mechanically inclination
- Manufacturing/ production experience is required
- Previous LTL or small package/parcel shipping experience preferred
- Knowledge of DOT guidelines and how they apply to the position is preferred
- 1-3 years forklift experience and prior certification is preferred
- Experience pulling trailers will be an asset
- Personal computer skills: Windows, Microsoft Word, and Excel
- Strong mathematical aptitude and analytical skills
- Communicate effectively both verbally and written
- Interpersonal skills including effective communication and comprehension
- Able to work efficiently and accurately at a fast pace
- Analytical and problem-solving ability
- Able to multitask while maintaining high attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new tasks and skills
- Strong hand-eye coordination and hand dexterity
