AG Innovation is seeking a dedicated and experienced Machine Builder for an exciting long-term career with significant growth potential. As a growing company, AG is looking for highly motivated individuals who are eager to be part of a dynamic team and contribute to our continued success.
We are specifically looking for candidates with experience in a range of automation technologies, including sonic welding, clip driving, poke yokes, IR welding, laser cells (CO2 or fiber), spray cells, router cells, trim dies, punch machines, and fully automated assembly lines. The rapid growth of AG Innovation has created an immediate need for additional personnel to support our expanding operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and build new automation equipment, including clip driving, snap fixtures, screw assembly cells, tab bending, and sonic welding, etc.
- Debug and troubleshoot assembly equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Read and interpret mechanical and pneumatic assembly prints.
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications.
- Communicate effectively with electricians, controls engineers, and management to maintain project flow and address any issues.
- Operate and maintain equipment such as Bridgeport mills and lathes.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, concepts, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in automation or machine building, with a focus on assembly equipment.
- Strong experience with building and debugging automation equipment.
- Proficiency in reading mechanical and pneumatic assembly prints.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools to build and assemble products.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good problem-solving skills and a creative approach to troubleshooting.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with other team members and departments.
- Must be reliable, goal-oriented, and have excellent attendance.
- Ability to frequently move, lift, transport, and position materials and equipment weighing over 40 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license is required.
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
- Familiarity with major sensor brands is preferred.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
Additional Skills:
Robot training or certification. (Not required) Ability to operate a Bridgeport or lathe. Knowledge of sensors and other key automation components is highly preferred.

Pay: $18.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
