Plasma Blue Lab Assistant - Temporary

Ag Management Solutions is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lab Assistant to join our team in a temporary/part-time role to assist with laboratory research in our Waseca, MN office for our client Plasma Blue—an innovative company developing new uses for plasma energy technologies. This position is temporary and part-time – approximately 20 hours per week thru January 2025. Ideal candidates will have 2-3 years or more of university-level chemistry coursework, 2-3 years or more of laboratory research experience, and experience with analytical equipment including GC, MS, titration testing, and others.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Process incoming samples

·        Accurately follow experimental design

·        Accurately record detailed data

·        Use of wet-chemistry equipment

·        Cleaning of equipment and laboratory area

·        Maintenance of equipment

·        General knowledge of laboratory safety systems

Qualifications:

·        Minimum high school degree with some college chemistry classes

·        At least one year of work in a chemistry lab setting

·        Ability to use Microsoft Excel and Word

·        Good math skills

·        Excellent communication, coordination, and cooperation skills

·        Attention to detail

·        Commitment to laboratory safety

·        Ability to independently follow protocols
