Warehouse Worker (basic Ag knowledge required)

Overview
We are seeking an individual to join our team as Warehouse Worker / Back Up Sales Associate. In the role of warehouse worker, you will also be required to provide some sales assistance to walk-in customers. Must have some computer skills and basic knowledge of the agriculture industry.

Duties

• Perform order picking and packing of products according to specifications.
• Maintain accurate inventory reporting for all products in the warehouse. Perform monthly counts and compare them with inventory reports. Address and resolve all discrepancies by researching orders and invoices.
• International freight logistics.
• Operate a skid steer and forklift.
• Utilize scanners for inventory control and management to track product movement.
• Assist with inventory management tasks, including stock replenishment and cycle counts.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of orders and shipments.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning.

Skills

• Proficiency in order picking techniques and packaging methods.
• Familiarity with inventory control systems and practices a plus.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to ten pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to fifty pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move one hundred pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
• Proven organizational skills and attention to detail, including the ability to effectively handle multiple, concurrent priorities.
• Computer skills, with knowledge of basic office systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
