Position Overview

The Business Office Support Manager is a vital role focused on ensuring seamless day-to-day business operations while providing high-level support to company leadership. This position combines strong administrative, organizational, and operational responsibilities to enhance efficiency, communication, and overall productivity.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Executive Administrative Support
    • Manage executive calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements.
    • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentations; record and distribute meeting minutes.
    • Act as a communication liaison between executives, team members, and external stakeholders.
  • Project Management and Strategic Initiatives
    • Assist in planning and tracking strategic projects, including the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
    • Organize and manage company events, training sessions, and meeting logistics.
    • Support leadership in the execution of business goals through project coordination and follow-up.
  • Office Management
    • Oversee office operations, ensuring a productive and well-organized workplace.
    • Manage vendor relationships and office supplies.
    • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Human Resources and Team Support
    • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and fostering employee engagement.
    • Provide support and direction to staff, contributing to a collaborative workplace environment.
    • Identify opportunities for staff training and professional development.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Engagement
    • Serve as the central point for communication with clients, partners, and team members.
    • Ensure timely and accurate dissemination of information within and outside the organization.
  • Documentation and Reporting
    • Maintain accurate and organized records, reports, and financial documentation.
    • Monitor business performance and recommend strategies for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field (preferred).
  • 3–5 years of experience in an Executive Assistant, Office Manager, or Business Support Manager role.
  • Strong familiarity with the construction industry or similar fast-paced environments.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and office management software.
  • High level of discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail.
