Position Overview
The Business Office Support Manager is a vital role focused on ensuring seamless day-to-day business operations while providing high-level support to company leadership. This position combines strong administrative, organizational, and operational responsibilities to enhance efficiency, communication, and overall productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Executive Administrative Support
- Manage executive calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements.
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentations; record and distribute meeting minutes.
- Act as a communication liaison between executives, team members, and external stakeholders.
- Project Management and Strategic Initiatives
- Assist in planning and tracking strategic projects, including the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Organize and manage company events, training sessions, and meeting logistics.
- Support leadership in the execution of business goals through project coordination and follow-up.
- Office Management
- Oversee office operations, ensuring a productive and well-organized workplace.
- Manage vendor relationships and office supplies.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Human Resources and Team Support
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and fostering employee engagement.
- Provide support and direction to staff, contributing to a collaborative workplace environment.
- Identify opportunities for staff training and professional development.
- Communication and Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the central point for communication with clients, partners, and team members.
- Ensure timely and accurate dissemination of information within and outside the organization.
- Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate and organized records, reports, and financial documentation.
- Monitor business performance and recommend strategies for improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field (preferred).
- 3–5 years of experience in an Executive Assistant, Office Manager, or Business Support Manager role.
- Strong familiarity with the construction industry or similar fast-paced environments.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and office management software.
- High level of discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail.
