Ag Processing Inc (AGP) is looking for a self-motivated, skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in David City, NE! This full-time role is a great opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude who enjoy troubleshooting and ensuring equipment runs efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Repair and/or replace broken or non-functioning equipment through analysis of problem and determining what materials/parts are needed.
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Fabricate new plant items out of metal or wood using welder's torches, band saws, presses, and other tools.
- Troubleshoot electrical problems and complete repairs when appropriate.
- Maintain plant sanitation standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 years in mechanical, construction or equivalent
- Knowledge of PSM, NFPA, OSHA, and EPA regulations
- Ability to read and understand computer printouts and equipment specifications
- Skilled in operating a forklift, bobcat and end-loader
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with internal and external customers
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Able to be available for on-call status periodically (as needed)
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
