Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Repair and/or replace broken or non-functioning equipment through analysis of problem and determining what materials/parts are needed.
- Perform preventative maintenance.
- Fabricate new plant items out of metal or wood using welder's torches, band saws, presses, and other tools.
- Troubleshoot electrical problems and complete repairs when appropriate.
- Maintain plant sanitation standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 years in mechanical, construction, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of PSM, NFPA, OSHA, and EPA regulations.
- Available to work day shift.
- Ability to read and understand computer printouts and equipment specifications.
- Skilled in operating a forklift, bobcat, and end-loader.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with internal and external customers.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Able to be available for rotational on-call status (every 5 weeks for 1 week).
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.

Pay:
