Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and other mechanical systems on tractors and trailers.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and vehicle inspections.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with diesel engines, electrical systems, and hydraulic components.
- Replace worn or damaged parts, including brakes, tires, and suspension components.
Qualifications and Skills
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A degree in diesel mechanics or relevant experience is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, and other mechanical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Class A CDL or the ability to obtain.
